A shameful incident has taken place in the program organized by the Nepal Tourism Board on Monday (22 June 2020). The virtual meeting was held by the Tourism Board to make the security guidelines related to the tourism industry public. Everyone was interested in the meeting as the tourism sector was in dire straits. However, the meeting was disrupted due to a porn video. Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation (Nepal) Yogesh Bhattarai was the chief guest at the virtual meeting assembled by Chief of the Tourism Board Dr. Dhananjay Regmi.

Shortly after Minister Bhattarai began his remarks at the meeting, pornographic films began to appear. And, also the sound used in it. After Bhattarai started addressing the meeting, the situation became confusing when porn video was played. It is said that the porn video was played from the ID named ‘Harris’ who entered the virtual meeting illegally.

Immediately after the pornographic video was played, the admin cut the video. At that time, Minister Bhattarai was expressing his views on the problems in the tourism sector in Nepal. Earlier, Tourism Secretary Kedar Bahadur Adhikari had addressed the meeting. The virtual meeting was attended by about 200 people including the minister.

Meetings are being organized today using technology to maintain social distance due to lockdown. Last time, an app called Zoom has been used for this purpose. But while the discussion is going on in this app, embarrassing incidents have started recurring. Earlier, such incidents have been made public in Nepal and outside Nepal. It is said that such work is done by hackers.
