To make WhatsApp instant messaging app secure, the company constantly keeps bringing new updates. In this episode, now WhatsApp is preparing to bring the Face Unlock feature for Android devices. This will make WhatsApp chatting full proof secure. The Face Unlock feature has already been rolled out for iOS devices.
Changes are going to happen in WhatsApp unlock
According to a report by WABetainfo, this feature of WhatsApp can prove to be quite beneficial, especially for the Pixel 4 smartphone user. After getting Face Unlock support, the settings of the fingerprint lock feature will be changed to a biometric lock. Meanwhile, in the smartphones without a fingerprint scanner, only Face Unlock will be supported. Three options will be available in the setting of biometric lock, with the help of which the phone will lock automatically, after one minute, and at an interval of 30 minutes, which will require biometric authentication to unlock by the user. Let us know that the Face Unlock feature was first given in the iPhone X smartphone in the year 2017.
Join missed call feature soon
Apart from the Face Unlock feature, work is also being done on the features of Join Missed Calls. You will not be able to miss video and audio calls in the Join Missed Call feature, which means if you have made a WhatsApp call, but at that time, the person in front is on a call with another person, then the user will still be able to join the call. Apart from this, the Always Mute feature is also being rolled out by WhatsApp so that users will be able to mute an individual or group forever.
