There has been controversy over the Myntra Logo, the big website of e-commerce.
Actually, the Myntra logo has been described by women as objectionable. A case has also been filed with the Mumbai Cybercrime Police, after which the company has decided to change the logo. Myntra has decided to change its current logo following a complaint filed by an NGO worker in December last year.
According to reports, Naz Patel, a member of the NGO Avesta Foundation, has lodged a complaint in Mumbai Police’s cyber cell and demanded the removal of this logo of Myntra. At the same time, Naz Patel also raised this issue on several platforms in social media. Myntra has taken a big decision after objecting to the logo. The old Myntra Logo somehow looked like a woman spreading legs and the watermark in between the letter “M” looks like representing women’s private part. This is the offensive reason why Myntra needed to change its logo.
The company says that it will soon change the logo on its website and mobile application. Apart from this, the logo will also be changed on the packing material. For this, packing material with the new logo has been sent for printing. The company will soon make changes to the logo on its website, app, and all packaging materials.
