Popular international travel site Lonely Planet has put Annapurna Circuit on the list of 10 must-visit destinations in Nepal. The world-famous Annapurna Circuit has been added to the list of destinations by Lonely Planet in 2020.
Mentioning that Annapurna is a must-visit destination, the site mentions the Golden Temple, attractive villages, forests and wildlife. Saying that Annapurna’s adventurous and exciting journey will be a catalyst, the organization has written on the site that after a long walk, the tired body can be filled with delicious dishes and tea.
Describing the journey to Annapurna region, Tilicho Lake, Kaligandaki and Thoranglapas in the Annapurna circuit, Lonely Planet has suggested all the tourists around the world to include Annapurna in the planned visit. The Annapurna region is famous for its scenic views, high mountain peaks, comfortable lodges and different species of apples.
Located in the northern region of Pokhara, Annapurna I is 10th largest mountain in the world with a height of 8,091 meters. Besides this, the region has 14 mountains higher than 7,000 meters. The ten-day trek includes Annapurna South and dozens of other small routes that connect to the mountain village.
